Maureen Denise McCormick was born on 5 August 1956 at Woodland Hills California the youngest and only child of Richard and Irene McCormick. Her father was an educator at school while her mother was mother at home. Michael Dennis Kevin, her two older brothers. McCormick began singing and performing in the early years of her life. When she was just six, McCormick was crowned the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley competition. Pat Domigan from the Jack Wormser Agency then called McCormick to inquire if the actress would be looking to pursue a career in showbusiness. McCormick got her first big job when she was cast as a television character in the 1964 commercial of Mattels new baby doll, Baby Pattaburp. The following year she appeared in another commercial for the companys Chatty Cathy doll and was later cast in the show Wind It up and It Breaks at the La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick won a 1969 audition from 1200 kids to be the youngest of three twins in the TV series The Brady Bunch, starring Florence Henderson as a newlywed together with Robert Reed. The series lasted 5 years. McCormick wrote in her book Heres the Story Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice Published in 2008, McCormick disclosed that during the fifth season of the TV show, she was close to losing her their virginity to sister Barry Williams. He was just 19. She was just 16. It would have happened she stated, but the time wasn't the right time for us.
